Learn how to subscribe to a Reddit feed or subreddit

With NetNewsWire 6, you can browse your favorite Reddit feeds and subreddits just like any other web feed. Subscribe to a Reddit feed or to the posts from a subreddit.

Reddit feeds work only with an iCloud or On Your Mac account.

To get started, set up the Reddit extension:

  1. Choose NetNewsWire › Preferences from the menu bar.
  2. Click Extensions, then click The plus button and choose Reddit.
  3. Sign in to your account and allow NetNewsWire to access your Reddit account.

Subscribe a Reddit feed

  1. Click The plus button and choose New Reddit Feed.
  2. Choose the type of feed to subscribe to:
    • A Reddit feed: choose Home, Popular, or All.
    • Posts from a subreddit: choose Subreddit, then enter its name without the /r/ prefix.
  3. Choose how Reddit will sort the posts: Best, Hot, New, Top, or Rising. Learn more about Reddit sorting.
  4. Then choose the account or folder to save it in and click Add.
